Run-through
Hellloo. Welcome to my first ever blog. I guess the best way to start this would be with an introduction. My name is Savana Peterson and I am a senior marketing major and ML minor here at Bradley. I am from right smack dab in the middle of Nebraska. So far you probably have two thoughts. "Dang you're from the middle of nowhere" and "How in the world did you end up at Bradley?". Don't worry I'm prepared to answer both. Yes I am from the middle of nowhere. Literally in the exact middle of nowhere if we are being specific but I wouldn't change a thing about where I grew up. You get used to hearing ope 10 times a day and you meet so so so many genuine people. Basically the opposite from spending your afternoon in downtown Chicago. How did I end up out here? Easy, you're gonna here so much about this that you might be just as exhausted as I am. Running running and more running. Sounds fun right?? If you are saying no right about now then don't worry, that's definitely me sometimes too. But I've learned that the more you run, the crazier you get, so after awhile the craziness just seems normal. Let's dive in.
Plot twist: I actually came to Bradley to play volleyball. I had decided that running would be to difficult to continue into college so my twin sister and I both committed to Bradley to play volleyball. Then after my freshmen year there was a coaching change, my sister decided to transfer and my world was being turned upside down. That was when I began to realize just how much I missed running in my life. Running and volleyball were two completely different things and both challenged me in different ways. But after awhile I noticed that the running challenge was what I needed. So my sophomore year, young ambitious me decided hey why not do both? Lets just say that was one of the most difficult things I have ever done and by the next year I was fully committed to running 12 months a year. And now you are basically all caught up. Im really excited to use this blog to document, relive and vent about all things running. It has its ups and downs for sure, and you will find that out all soon enough.

I love this story of your evolution as an athlete on campus. I know it was a challenge to figure out what to do, but I admire your commitment to stick!
